Zooming out of context of the living conditions of the vulnerable population in Singapore, the project investigates into the elderly solo travellers of Singapore. In spirits of promoting good hospitality towards tourists, lending a helping hand to this emotionally lost elderly solo travellers would be of great help to them. In this experimentation, a lounge that acts as a one-stop service centre has been collage to see the effect of communication between the public and elderly solo travellers who are seeking for help on the other side.

Opened in December 1981, Changi Airport Terminal 2 has not gone through any upgradings to accommodate to the needs of current visitors as compared to the other terminals that have undergone minor upgradings. Based on observations, Terminal 2 does not provide lounge seatings and is designed mostly by dull looking materials and finishing, lacking greens and the space to rest. Hence, an opportunity has been taken on this site to be explored on for this project.
